Once again we have guaranteed places for this highly sought after event.

Royal parks Half Marathon gives you a unique opportunity to run a half marathon through four Royal parks, whilst enjoying amazing views of iconic London landmarks, such as Buckingham palace, the Houses of parliament, the London Eye, marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.

If you would like to take part in this amazing event then contact us, places are on a first come first served basis.

What can you expect when you run for Practical Action?

• A Practical Action welcome pack, full of fundraising tips and advice
• A practical Action running t-shirt
• Dedicated events staff to help with any fundraising or events questions

Royal Parks Half Marathon

Doctors of the World are a humanitarian organisation working in over 70 countries. We help vulnerable people across the world, from young mothers and their babies in the slums of India to injured civilians in Libya, and victims of natural disasters like the earthquake in Haiti. Here in the UK we run Project: London where we help some of the community’s most vulnerable, including victims of torture and people fleeing violence, pregnant mothers unable to access antenatal care, and babies in need of basic immunisations. Our long term objective is to make health a human right.

Doctors of the World has guaranteed places for;

  • Royal Parks Half Marathon on SUNDAY 9 OCTOBER 2011 – LONDON
  • The registration fee for this race is £40 and the minimum sponsorship to be raised is £350.

And

  • ASICS British 10K London Run on SUNDAY 10 JULY 2011

The registration fee for this race is £25 and the minimum sponsorship to be raised is £200.

Bradford City Run

This years’ Bradford City Run will take place on Sunday 2nd October, a little earlier than previous years’. The half marathon, organised on behalf of Bradford City Council, is taking place for the third year in a row.

Following on from the success of last year’s event, where nearly 2000 runners took to the streets of Bradford, this year it will consist of a half-marathon along the same scenic route as 2010, as well as a fun run around Lister Park.

Starting in the historic city centre by the famous Alhambra Theatre, the 13.2 mile half marathon, on a fully-closed road circuit will then head out into the magnificent Brontё countryside before finishing in the award-winning Lister Park.

The fun run is set to take place entirely within Lister Park, which will also stage an extensive event village and entertainment.
Online entry for the event will open at Easter time, with an early bird discount yet to be announced.
