Run or walk the 5k Nativity Run with your friends and family dressed as a character from the Nativity story. When you finish collect your free mince pie and relax with a glass of warm Winter Pimms at The Windmill pub – and all for a great cause.

RNLI Reindeer Run, River Lee Country Park

Join the stampede this year and help raise vital funds for the Lifeboats. There’s 10k (age 15+) and 5k (age 10+) runs to choose from. For those who want to join in the fun but don’t want to run, there’s a 2k Santa Saunter (open to all ages). Every entrant will be given a FREE pair of reindeer antlers (complete with red flashing nose!) and FREE t-shirt. A hot drink and mince pie awaits you at the finish, plus there will be medals for runners, certificates for walkers and prizes for best fancy dress! So join in the fun at our fabulous Reindeer Run!

St. Marys 5K Run Yate Bristol

Saturday 25th June 2010 at 11am.

A 5.5km run on paths, country lanes and over footbridges. The course will start and finish at St Mary’s School, Yate. The run is open to male and female runners including a youth section. There will be a bar/refreshments. The course is marked in kilometres. Race will start at 11:00 with the presentation to follow at 12.30. Medals for all entries. Run the Bridge, Halton 5 mile road race, 24 April 2011

The Halton and Hale Road Race Committee are now organising the 12th successive Halton 5 Mile Road Race across the famous Silver Jubilee Bridge. Now well established in the annual calendar of road races in the North of England, the race is on a flat paved course from Runcorn Railway Station to Hale Park. It’s not just serious competitors who enter, everyone from club runners to those who just run for fun have entered in the past. The finishing time for the last runner in 2010 was over 1 hour 12 minutes, so everyone can enter, no matter what experience you have.

Entries are £10 club runners, £12 non-club runners, +£3 extra on the day.

Big O Broad Oak 10k Road Race – 30th May 2011

Now in its 26th year the Big O Broad Oak 10K Road Race in Hatfield Broad Oak is one of the best loved races in the South East. Hatfield Broad Oak is on the Herts / Essex border near to Stansted Airport. The race is a single lap of a figure of eight course on traffic free roads.

The race starts at 11am on 30th May 2011 which is a Bank Holiday Monday so it is the perfect event for family and friends to support the runners. The race forms part of the village festival weekend so there is entertainment, a fete, side stalls, food, incredible floral displays in the 12th century church, music and fantastic support from the local pubs and villagers.

There is ChampionChip timing, free parking, changing facilities, toilets, prizes, water stations and a commemorative t-shirt for every finisher. The Big O Broad Oak Road Race has received a silver grade from B.A.R.R.

Once the main race has finished there is a 1 mile children’s fun run. Free to enter every child that finishes receives a medal.

This is a very popular event. The 2010 race had 1500 runners and places fill quickly. Entry will open on 1st March 2011.
