Our runners will get the chance to run past many of the country’s greatest landmarks including Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey.
Taking part of the 10k London run for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust not only is great exercise but is also a brilliant way to help raise money for the important work we do.
We are the only National Personal Safety charity in Britain and your continued help and support can ensure we continue to provide useful resources to help keep people safe.
The 2012 event is staged just 19 days before the start of the Olympic Games and the excitement and buzz within London at this time should make for a truly special occasion and the best British 10k London Run in its 12 year history. There is a 5K finish line and timer for any runners who feel that they are not quite ready yet to run the whole 10K course. We have courses to prepare you for the 5K (and the 10K) provided by Helen Whittaker (from Life Coaching). Please see Twitter or FaceBook for details.
The Fun Run has been held in Fen Drayton for many years. There was a gap of over 20 years until the headmaster of Fen Drayton School, Ian Connors, decided to revive it in 2011. The winners in 2011 were: Boys – Edward Jones, aged 12 (10:18) and Girls – Ellen Chapman, aged 11 (11:23).
Start
All runs start from Fen Drayton School, Cootes Lane, Fen Drayton, Cambridgeshire CB24 4SL. The 5K & 10K start at 11:00am and the Fun Run at 1:00pm.
Registration
Online registration is now open. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. Registration for the 10K is on-line only – the last date you can register is 30th April 2012. Registration for the 5K is on-line, by post or in person to the school and also on the day (from 9:30am).

The Fen Drayton 10K is open to anyone who is 16 years or older. The 5K is open to anyone 14 years and older. The Fun Run is open to children under 14 years, but under 10s must be accompanied by an adult throughout the run. There will be a Fun Run for the U11s and also for the U14s.
Fees
1. 10K : Affiliated (to ARC or UK Athletics) : £10
2. 10K : Non-Affiliated : £15 (but discounted to £12 if you register before 31 March)
3. Fun Run : £3
4. 5K : £5 (seniors), £3 (school children & students)
Trophies
Trophies will be awarded for fastest times in the 10K & the Fun Run.
All 5K and Fun Run finishers will receive a runners medal.
