Hogweed Trotters

We try not to take ourselves too seriously and we try to make our runs as enjoyable as possible, but also enjoying pushing the boundaries of what we are capable of. We run for fun, to train for races such as Bristol and Bath Half Marathons, the London Marathon and local races.

Sunday morning runs along the byways and country lanes of the Cotswolds in good company are as idyllic as running can be.

The club was launched in November 2000 and has grown steadily each month to over 200 members currently.

We cater for everyone from the beginner to the veteran and everyone is welcome. It is a great place to get fit and to make new friends!

In summer we meet at Chipping Sodbury Football Club off the Wickwar Road.

In winter, from the late September, we meet at Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club on St John’s Way, just behind the tennis courts.

The club house is usually open for about quarter of an hour before the advertised time. Most people arrive dressed in running kit.

And our group of coaches are more than willing to help you out with advice on training programmes and other tips.

Come and try a free training run or find out how to join the Hogweed Trotters.
